eSankhyiki Portal: The National Statistics Office under Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) launched the beta version of Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for eSankhyiki portal+It is a centralized digital platform launched by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) to provide seamless access to India’s official statistics+ It aims to provide timely and valuable data inputs for policymakers, researchers, and the general public.

Dicliptera pakhalica: A new species of plant has been discovered in Telangana by scientists from the Botanical Survey of India (BSI)+ Named after Pakhal Lake, a historic man-made reservoir from the Kakatiya period+ The species is known only from its type locality in Pakhal Wildlife Sanctuary+ The species occurs in association with other native plants such as Tarenna asiatica, Eranthemum purpurascens etc+ Habitat – Grows along stream banks and rocky areas near waterfalls inside Pakhal Wildlife Sanctuary.

Development of Excavation Sites and Heritage Complexes (DESH) scheme: It is a heritage-based cultural tourism development scheme aimed at developing archaeological sites into vibrant experiential cultural destinations+ Nodal Ministry – The Ministry of Culture+ Objective – To place heritage at the centre of cultural tourism+ To open excavated landscapes for public engagement and generate local employment, and strengthen regional economies.
