• Published annually since 2014
• 2026 edition based on Global Employability Test (G.E.T.) Assessments
• Theme for 2026: “Gig work, freelancing, AI-supported roles, remote work, and entrepreneurship”
• Objective: To assess India’s employability landscape and identify sectoral skill gaps.
• Findings: India accounts for 16% of global AI talent pool + Over 90% of employees use generative AI tools + National employability rose to 54.81% (2025)
• Most Employable States 2026: Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Karnataka.
