• The projectà sanctioned for Mandya district under the Khelo India Scheme of the Union government.
• Khelo Indiaà national programme of the Central government to revive sports culture at the grassroots level and to transform India into a leading sporting nation.
• Rs 4,000 croreàAllocated to strengthen the sports infrastructure in the latest Union Budget
• The stadium will strengthen sports culture of the region and it is being established to encourage sports champions of Mandya and the surrounding districts
